First things first, I am so glad you’re here! I'm really happy that you’ve decided to journey with me as we grow closer — collectively and individually — by painting our purpose in a judgement-free zone full of empowerment (and sprinkled with the occasional mommy and relationship stories haha.)

nice to meet you!

xoxo Miss Society

I’m a 29-year-old wife and mother of one precious baby girl. Together, my little family travels the world to be alongside my husband, who just so happens to play professional basketball in Europe.

In the eyes of my family I am the baby, the socialite (hence the nickname) and a spoiled brat to some. In the eyes of my friends, I'm the go-with-the-flow, secret-holding, event-planning friend to go to for advice or a listening ear. In the eyes of my husband, I am his world, his partner in crime, the person that keeps him sane during his crazy basketball seasons, and his nerve wrecker with all the girly things I want to do. (It’s clearly a balance, ha.)

I’m from the small city of Michigan City, Indiana, and an alumna of Indiana State University where I earned my bachelor’s in communications. I later earned my master’s from Ball State University in Indiana.

My name is Dana, but growing up my family always called me "Miss Society". Feel free to call me either!

i'm so happy you're here!

Family means everything to me, no really I mean everything! As any other family we are dysfunctional at times but I wouldn’t trade them for the world.

my family

Walk by faith, not by sight. - 2nd Corinthians 5:7. Being raised in a church, I always grew up knowing how great GOD was. Now that I’m an adult, I see how great he is and always give him all the praise.

Ahh yes, the time with some of my closest friends keeps me balanced and energy high!

I found my love for broadcasting as a young girl watching 106 & Park. You couldn’t tell me when I grew up I wasn’t going to take Free’s job.

I found my love for event planning in grad school and during my wedding.  Everyone who knows me knows that planning an event always has to be a grand event and done to perfection.

Introduce the Miss Society lifestyle to women to help improve their lives & inspire you to push past limitations to live their definition of a fulfilling life.

Maintain a level of authenticity and transparency that creates a safe space for women to dream, explore, and fail throughout their pursuit of living an intentional life.

Be my truest self and share real - sometimes difficult - examples and teachings on how to maintain your calling and identity outside of the blessings of being a wife, mother & friend.

Socialites, I Promise to..
